Overview

Battle of Guardians (BOG) is a real-time multiplayer NFT fighting game developed in Unreal Engine, built on the Solana Network, and incubated by GG Labs, an innovation incubator and investment arm of Good Games Guild. Players engage in fierce multi-realm battles in an expansive game world. It is developed for PC, with iOS and Android being planned in the future with cross-platform multiplayer.

Battle of Guardians is a one-on-one game where players are in a constant battle to defeat other players to earn more rewards. There are no teammates to coordinate with, and no noise in the system. In this world, it’s just you and your opponent. It is a balanced yet competitive environment. Battle of Guardians truly believes that all play-to-earn games should have balanced "play" aspects as well as their "earn".

Created by a well-experienced and skillful team, Battle of Guardians aims to build a long-term, stable, and constantly evolving game environment and economy. The endgame is the creation of a sustainable game franchise that will lead the NFT Fighting game industry where developers, investors, and players can all contribute together to explore endless opportunities in the fighting game metaverse.

In addition, the Battle of Guardians ecosystem also has many interesting features, including NFT purchase, NFT synthesis, in-game currency (Battle of Guardians Share/$BGS and Fighting Points/$FP), marketplace, staking system, and renting & scholarship.

Gameplay

Battle of Guardians is a real-time one-on-one PVP game where players engage in fierce multi-realm battles. BOG is an all-out battle of skills where the best players are in a constant battle to beat other players to earn more rewards.

—Story & Training Mode
In this PVE mode, there are 10 stages for players to delve into and start fighting against CPU opponents which gets progressively more difficult as the players progress through. This mode serves as an opportunity for players to practice and be accustomed to their NFT Character’s skill moves and stats. Players will be rewarded with $FP for every hard-earned win in each stage.

—PVP Mode
Players will fight against other players in a 1v1 battle of random matchmaking through the arena mode. There is only one metric that defines players’ skills here: Matchmaking Rating (MMR). Players of roughly the same skill will be paired to fight based on their MMR. The winner of each battle will be rewarded with a moderate amount of $FP which depends on the player’s MMR.

—Tournament Mode
An exciting mode for experienced players. Players who want to join are required to pay a certain amount of entrance fee, paid in $FP. Players will be matched in brackets of 8/16/32 players in a single tournament in accordance with the number of players in the queue. Players will fight until knocked out or knocks everyone out. That player will be crowned the winner and will be rewarded with the pool of $FP collected at the beginning. Not only that, they will receive a certain amount of $BGS as well. This makes it the most rewarding game mode of all three.

NFTs

The characters in Battle of Guardians were designed in a way so no players will have an unfair advantage over the others. In the process of developing a balanced yet competitive game, Fighter NFTs are developed with races and tiers.

—Races
The characters are categorized into three races: Guardians, Humans, and Demons. These races are differentiated by three attributes:

• Health Points - The number of health a character has.
• Damage - Overall damage points that a character can bring upon its opponent.
• Intelligence - Additional damage points for characters who use its movement combinations (combos).

Guardians - Have more damage points

Humans - Have more intelligence points

Demons - Have more health points

—Tiers

Elite Fighter — Fighters with basic abilities, have normal rewards for every win.

Legendary Warrior — Fighters equipped with special skills, have moderate rewards for every win.

God of War — Fighters equipped with special skills and ultra-skills, have high rewards for every win.

Additional Features

—NFT Marketplace
Battle of Guardians’ official marketplace is to exclusively drop their own NFTs and have them ready to fight. The marketplace will become a hub for players/users to exchange NFT characters (fighters), in-game items, as well as NFT Renting. All NFTs exchanged in this marketplace will have high utility inside the game.

—NFT Renting
Through a dedicated NFT Renting program, owners can officially rent their NFT assets to players who are skillful and eager to earn from the game. This way, both parties are able to split earnings and it becomes a win-win solution.

—Scholarships
As guilds become more popular and projects of gaming hub start to rise among the players, BOG understands the situation and provide a scholarship program built inside the smart contract. Guilds and scholars can determine a share agreement prior to leasing the NFT characters and earnings will be split automatically.

—Staking
Users/players who stake a number of $BGS will not only earn a competitive APY on their tokens but also get the chance to participate in the NFT drop and other events.

Tokenomic

$BGS is BOG’s main currency that can be obtained by players or users through staking and winning in tournament mode. $BGS initially launched on a dual-chain ecosystem — Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Solana Chain (SOL). The total supply of $BGS is one billion tokens. Tokens are distributed for various purposes for the game.

• Payment — $BGS can be used to purchase NFT characters and other in-game items within the game.
• Governance — $BGS is a governance token, meaning holders of $BGS can contribute to the development of the Battle of Guardians game franchise.
• Staking — Players or users are able to stake $BGS to receive a competitive yield. Not only yield, players or users who stake a certain amount of $BGS will be eligible to join the first NFT drop.

Twenty-eight percent of the whole tokens are reserved for token sale as means of fundraising.

$FP or Fighting Points acts as the secondary currency that would be listed on the market. $FP is the common rewards for the play-to-earn model inside BOG. In that sense, $FP also has its own use cases.

• Payment - Like $BGS, $FP can be used to purchase NFT characters and in-game items, as well as to pay costs for NFT synthesis.
• Entrance Fee - $FP can also be used to pay an entrance fee for the Tournament Mode.
Players/users can obtain $FP by winning in one of the three game modes.
